The PolyScience HPLAT-30-A11B histology freeze plate allows histotechnicians to observe tissue freezing and keep specimen edges flat. The plate has a fixed 30 degree F/-34.4 degree C surface temperature to freeze samples quickly and reduce processing time. The stainless-steel plate and plate cover are durable and resist corrosion. A plate cover protects the working surface while not in use. Working surface dimensions are 14.5 x 9.4 inches/36.8 x 23.8cm (W x D, where W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back) to accommodate multiple samples. Overall dimensions are 10.5 x 18.4 x 15.9 inches/26.7 x 46.7 x 40.3cm (H x W x D, where H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back). The unit uses a 120V/60Hz mains.
